They say that time flies when you are enjoying yourself and in my case I still find it amazing that a whole year has gone by since our inaugural conference in January 2018. In that time we have established FIBA as a natural home for specialist property finance professionals, created a first class lending panel, as well as the popular Professional Partners Panel, run a year long series of roadshows and participated in events and seminars across the UK.
In 2019, do aspects of regulation make for a better business?
As we approach the end of the first twelfth of 2019, there is much on the compliance calendar and this regular slot will allow me to expand on some of it throughout the year. There are a number of ‘big ticket’ items heading our way in 2109 that are likely to have a substantial impact on the way regulated brokers carry out their business.
