Certified Practitioner in Specialist Property Finance (CPSP) Level 3
The Certified Practitioner in Specialist Property Finance (CPSP) was created to meet the needs of a growing and vibrant part of the advice sector. The founding principles were to provide a standard within the industry that both new entrants and existing practicing brokers could engage, with not only raising standard across the industry, but in also providing ongoing support and education for those wanting to explore all aspects of our industry.
First steps took place in 2021 and by May of 2023, all parties, which included FIBA, BDLA and the LIBF had created the core requirements where, with the support of a number of experts across the sector, we all put together the questions and case studies that form part of the financial industry’s newest standard.
Who is the certification course designed for:
It will help you if you are:
- new to the specialist property finance industry
- joining a commercial lender with little or no experience in commercial property and bridging finance
- experienced in commercial finance but would like to become a broker.
The CPSP will consolidate and build your specialist property finance skills and knowledge, to help you work more effectively with brokers, lenders, solicitors and valuers.
You'll discover:
- more about lender, broker and customer relationships
- how to analyse lending propositions and structure suitable solutions and exit strategies
- more about regulatory, compliance and fundamental business practices.
- And once you’ve passed the exam, you’ll be awarded a digital badge and a digital certificate so that you can easily demonstrate your professional expertise.
