VAS VALUATION GROUP EXPANDS EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES IN 2023

New website and podcast series announced
VAS Valuation Group is expanding its 2023 educational activities for lenders and brokers with the launch of a new video-driven website and series of podcasts.
The new website, found at vas-group.co.uk, covers both VAS Panel and VAS Assurance divisions with detailed explanations of how each business works and a big emphasis on people led presentations to highlight key facts and figures.
At the request of the finance industry there is also a detailed Frequently Asked Questions section covering general questions, reports, valuations, reliance and general instructions.
In addition, the company is in the process of filming a series of podcasts with hugely experienced freelance journalist and ex-Manchester Evening News Business Editor, Ben Rooth.
The topics will be decided on an ongoing basis through discussions with lenders and brokers, with the first episodes in March answering commonly asked questions around requesting quotes, instructing valuations and quality controls procedures within the panel system.
Stephen Todd, Chief Commercial Officer & Co-Founder, said: “All our marketing activities this year will be focused on education, whether it’s the new website, podcasts, ad-hoc video for social media, customer visits or industry presentations. The more people know, the simpler the processes.”
“We always say our wonderful staff are people with technology, not technology with people, they are what makes this business exceptional,” adds Gina May, Chief Operating Officer and co-founder.
“To highlight this they need to be front-and-centre of our marketing activities and they cannot wait.”
The VAS Valuation Group consists of two core divisions.
VAS Panel provides a full valuation panel management service comprising over 200 firms, this ensures the most relevant companies are instructed based on location, deal type and value.
VAS Assurance, previously known as VAS Audit, delivers live and retrospective Valuation Auditing, Valuation Desktop+, Project Monitoring Audits and Loan Book Monitoring
